T O P I C R E V I E WSoltzeI read somewhere it's the aspect of scepticism. Like someone who deep down want's to believe but is confronted with the constraints of life...I have the conjunction in Cap. It's the closest aspect in my chart being both minutes apart.Anyone would like to share their experiences with this aspect in the chart?SeimeiRenunciation of the corporeal world or restructuring to form a new paradigm . not believing what is real to be real,or unsure about what IS is,lol.skepticism sure butJust consider what each planet represents and how those two energies may conflict or merge and then the sign Neptune in Cappy, dissolving reality Saturn in Cappy(Home) establishing a new one or doubling down on the old one. I know Uranus was close buy as well. maybe study what was happening in the world when you were born or rather the whole 9 months leading to, surely you can come up with one word better than skepticism------------------LeekingCheecuriouspisces89Yes I have this too, very tight conjunction in my 6th house.I found this very interesting article about it: An extreme example of this aspect may be seen inthe lives of a vast number of children born underthe Saturn-Uranus-Neptune conjunction in 1989-90. With the divorce rate as highas 50% in some states, one million children per year suffer through their parents’divorce, and 85% of them live with their mother, while 20% of children are part ofa step-family. Fathers see more of their children in the first two years, but lessand less after, especially if the mother remarries. Only 25 % of fathers haveweekly contact, and 20% of them see their children only once or twice a year.6Stepparents and blended families are part of the reality of youngsters in thisgeneration, a testament to the presence of Uranus in the combination.I can feel you parents and grandparents out there worrying what willhappen to youngsters in your families born with this conjunction, the 198-9square, or the 2006-7 opposition. Remember what was said about looking at thetotal chart to see how strong the aspect is—and about the amazing capacitypeople with these aspect have to transcend difficult backgrounds and contributeto our world in very special ways. Keep in mind that these are aspects betweentwo slow-moving planets, and at the very least, two-thirds of the children born inthe two-year interval the aspect is in effect have it. If there are 30 children in aclassroom, perhaps 20 of them have it, as will hundreds of thousands born in theUnited States and millions around the globe at that time. Therefore, the aspect isn’t entirely personal in its effects, but ratherreflects world conditions and their impact on the collective mind. The world thesechildren inhabit will be very different from the one most of us grew up in, and it’slikely that the pattern of inconsistent authority figures will result in a generationthat both needs and prefers to be independent. These kids will question thestatus quo in order to build a new kind of society and a new model of familybonding not entirely based on blood but also on affinity. They may well need thetoughness and grit of this aspect in order to deal with the effects of the changingenvironmental and political conditions that are already in play, brought on by thetheir elders wastefulness and ignorance of the interdependency of anincreasingly global community.https://2ndsaturnreturn.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/cunningham-saturn-neptune-aspects.pdfSoltze@Seimei: considering history I can see this aspect as being testing. But I feel it can be meaningful if aspected by personal planets. My Venus opposes this conjunction, so that's why I'm trying hard to grasp its nature. It's in my 11th. And I'm a bit of an individualist. I just do one-on-one helping, friendship or whatever. I don't get along with groups. I can say that before Tpluto conjunct all these lovely planets in Capricorn, I was very delusional about people (it conjuncts my DSC)...but I have learned my lesson, so I pay attention to my delusional side of Neptune more now lol. On the positive note I think that this aspect has given me great ideas for my art, so I use this energy for this all the time. A very constructive and positive expression of Saturn-Neptune is sustained and focused meditation or spiritual practices. peonySaturn and Neptune in combination is very complex in its expressions and characteristics. You're right that skepticism is one manifestation of this aspect.I don't have it, but my guy does and so my experiences are in synastry. There are positive and negative manifestations. Saturn-Neptune people tend to have heightened antenna for the false note and deception. They tend to see the glass half empty or to see "though a glass darkly." They can become too focused on what's wrong with people and the world, and of emphasizing the negative. Understandably, they're not the happiest of people. They tend to suffer from melancholy or depression. They're attuned to the sad aspects of life. Alcoholism is associated with this aspect. But, they can be extremely compassionate and sacrifice themselves to help others. The best expression of these planets in combination is an ability to uphold an ideal or vision of hope in moments of extremity or tragedy. A great example is civil rights leader Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream Speech," which was delivered during a Saturn-Neptune transit, so the speech reflects these archetypal energies. My friend is a combination of being very cynical and yet very innocent and idealistic at the same time.I think there's also a connection with the Scapegoat Archetype - "the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world." Within the family, a person with this aspect would tend to be a scapegoat, meaning the family member who is perceived as being the cause of misfortune, who carries the unconscious projections of the family or the "sins" of the family, and/or whose value within the family system is not acknowledged or appreciated. They may have difficult to diagnose symptoms or have an illness which is attributable to family dynamics. They may have boundaries which are too permeable making them vulnerable to negative energies in their environment. As to the more benign manifestations of Saturn and Neptune in major aspect, it is significantly associated with music and is commonly found in the charts of classical composers. Also, those who are administrators or people who run businesses or organizations that are spiritual or humanitarian in nature. Saturn and Neptune is about uniting heaven and earth, which is in its deepest sense the mark of a human being. wheresthemoonI have a positive interpretation for you. I've heard Saturn/Neptune aspects can help you bring structure and realism to your idealism and fantasies, making you more likely to pursue things that seem ridiculous to others with determination and discipline, thus turning your dreams into your reality☺️peony.
